My daughter liked this book she is 10yrs old and her body is changing and there is alot of information for her.I'm glad I purchased this book
very good book to help your young girls prepare for things to come in the life
I work in a middle school and the girls love this book. It is wonderful.
This book is very informative for my daughter of 9 years of age. She has not put the book down since i gave it to her. Thanks Amazon.com for having it at such an affordable price range.
I figured if we went through it togther I could explain that this is something that she has a couple years until needing to know and that we would have that discussion when the time came. This is a fabulous book but I wish that it came as separate books for some of the older information. However, it was definitely the thing that concerned her the most (the pictures are quite graphic) and my telling her it was nothing to worry about (a normal part of growing up) and something we would discuss further when she was older really didn't do much to assuage her fears. My daughter is 8 and has started to undergo some changes so I got this for her as a way to open our discussion. I read through it prior to reading through it with her and was a little concerned about how she would take the section on mentruation, most specifically how to put a tampon in. So, that being said, I would definitely get this book, it really has some wonderful information. However, if I could do it all over again I would probably remove the section on periods until she is full throttle into puberty, then go through it with her closer to when she needs to know.
